Hawaiʻi Figure Skating Club is proud to offer several test sessions each year, available to any member of US Figure Skating.

 

WHAT ARE TEST SESSIONS?

The test structure is often called the “backbone of US Figure Skating" because a skater is only eligible to compete at the level of their highest test passed. Testing is the first step in becoming a competitive figure skater, and is a way to measure the skater's ability compared to a national standard. Each US Figure Skating test that you pass goes on your permanent record and is an achievement you always carry with you.

TEST SESSION APPLICATIONS

All testing applications and applicable fees are due one month prior to the test date.  Applications not received by this date are subject to a $25 late fee.

Test sessions are filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.  If you know you need to be on a specific test session do not wait until the deadline date.  Get your test applications in early.  When a test session fills up, even if the deadline has not been reached, you will have to wait until the next scheduled test session.

PLEASE NOTE: Test Sessions are suspended until further notice due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. When the rink has re-opened, we will talk with the coaches to determine the new testing schedule.
